FJC On-Site partners listed on the infographic can be found on the "Partners" page of this website. 428 restraining orders were electronically filed in 2022. In 2022, 1,744 individual clients were served, clients were provided services 2,449 times, and 2,959 referrals were made to on-site partners. The FJC opened July 8, 2010 as the first FJC in NC, after community dialogue regarding the serious issues of domestic violence. Since opening, 13,260 individuals were served a total of 17,784 times. In 2013, the FJC became the first in the nation to offer electronic filing of 50B restraining orders. Since June 2013, 4,079 ex-parte orders have been filed at the FJC. Between 2011-2022, demand for services increased by 192%. In 2021, the FJC started a Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team to identify and analyze domestic violence homicides.
