Alamance Parks now offers horse trail rides and private riding lessons! All trail ride sessions will be hosted at the Cedarock Equestrian Center. All necessary safety equipment and a horse will be provided.
Trail Rides are approximately 45 minutes to an hour through wooded terrain. This is a walking-only ride and is appropriate for beginners. The group will be led by an experienced trail guide. All necessary safety equipment will be provided. Rides are available for ages 6 and up. All trail rides are $50 per person.
Trail rides and riding lessons are offered Tuesday through Sunday. Availability is subject to weather and trail conditions. Other times may be available by special request.
Cedarock Equestrian Barn
In May 2021, a 10-stall stable was completed at the Cedarock Equestrian Complex. The addition of this barn enables us to host horse rides and other equestrian services to the public. For more information about the Cedarock Equestrian Complex, contact Alamance Parks at 336-229-2410.
