On Thursday, June 6, 2024, Detectives with the Alamance County Major Crimes Unit began an investigation of stalking. Detectives were advised that two female realtors, who work for the same reality company in Alamance County, were receiving multiple phone calls and text messages of a sexual nature.

Working with cellular carriers, Detectives traced the calls to Malik DeAndre Pitts. Detectives were informed by the victims that they did not know Mr. Pitts.

Detectives established probable cause to charge Mr. Pitts with 1ct. misdemeanor stalking and 1ct. misdemeanor harassing phone calls.

Detectives learned that Pitts was staying at an address in High Point, N.C. rather than his home address in Gibsonville, N.C.

On Tuesday, August 3, 2024, Detectives contacted the High Point Police Department who took Mr. Pitts into custody in the 1300 block of R.C. Baldwin Ave, High Point, N.C.

The High Point Police Department served Malik Pitts with the ACSO warrants and other outstanding warrants for arrest. Mr. Pitts is being held in High Point with no bond.
